Terms of Use

Effective August 2, 2026

These Terms govern use of the RunLoop application and website.

Fitness and outdoor safety

Running and outdoor activity involve risk. RunLoop does not guarantee that a generated route, discovered trail, park, path, parking location, or map feature is safe, public, open, legal, maintained, accessible, accurately mapped, or suitable for any user. Verify signs, access, closures, land ownership, traffic, weather, terrain, wildlife, and local conditions.

Maps and public data

RunLoop relies on third-party and public data that may be incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, delayed, or outdated. Do not enter private, restricted, closed, or hazardous areas because they appear in the app.

Foreground tracking

The current release is designed to track while RunLoop is open. Users should not assume recording will continue after the app is minimized, terminated, or the device is locked.

Estimates and no medical advice

Calories, steps, elevation, route quality, training guidance, and performance information may be estimates and are not medical advice.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse RunLoop, interfere with services, abuse third-party APIs, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service unlawfully.

Availability

Features, beta tools, public data sources, and service availability may change without notice.

Disclaimer and liability

RunLoop is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. RunLoop Fitness is not liable for route choices, injury, property damage, trespass, lost data, or reliance on inaccurate map or fitness information to the maximum extent permitted by law.
